Your login details are sent to you via email once you have registered with Indialets. Your username will be your email address used during the registration process accompanied with the password of your choice.

I have forgotten my password
If you have forgotten your password you can simply go onto the website and reset your password using your registered email address. This will send a new password to your email address which you may then change.

Updating my contact details
It is important that we have up-to-date contact details for all registered users on the website. If you need to update your contact information please do so from your account page. Please ensure that when you have updated the information that you click the save button.

The website allows the homeowner to manage all of their bookings through this resource. Everyday thousands of potential travellers visit our website in search of their ideal holiday home within India.

How much does it cost to advertise my property?
Advertisers pay only £109+ VAT (where applicable) per annum for their premium advert.

How do I advertise my property?
Once you have registered with Indialets and have logged into the website you will have access to your account page. In your account page you can select the option to add a property to which you can pay and then have access to creating your own personalised advertisement.

What if I want to advertise multiple properties?
When purchasing an advert you have the option of selecting multiple adverts. Any additional adverts after the first property purchase will be at a discounted rate for the advertiser.

How can I increase my advert exposure?
You have the option to boost your exposure on the website by adding your advertised property as a "Featured Property".

Featured Properties are highlighted, in rotation, on the homepage and at the top of each search page for a timeframe of your choice. This advert is shown in addition to your basic advert.

Prices start from:

  • £30 excl VAT for 3 weeks
  • £55 excl VAT for 6 weeks
  • £90 excl VAT for 12 weeks

Payments

How do I pay?
To pay for your advert you must simply log in using your username and password and choose to add a new property or to renew your existing advert. This payment will be made online using a debit or credit card.

If you prefer to pay by bank transfer you can contact us via email for more information. All bank transfers are subject to an administration fee of £10 + VAT.

Do I need to pay VAT on my advert?

  • All UK residents are subject to VAT (Value Added Tax). As of 4th January 2011 this stands at 20%
  • Any VAT registered businesses within the UK may claim this back
  • EU residents registered for VAT in your country of residence are required to provide their VAT number by law
  • Small businesses who are not VAT registered must confirm they do not have to pay VAT
  • Residents outside the EU are not charged VAT
  • All amendments can be made from the user account page in the account details section once logged in

Are payments I make secure and do you store my payment card details?
All payments are made securely through PayPal. www.paypal.co.uk
This ensures safe and secure online debit and credit card transactions.
For security purposes we do not save or store any payment details submitted by the user.

Will I get an invoice for my payment made?
All purchases made on the website will be accompanied with an invoice. Invoices are sent via email to the payee. It may take a few hours for an invoice to be received once the transaction has been completed.

If you do not received your invoice please check all your email folders, otherwise please contact customer support for it to be resent to you.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your subscription at anytime by notifying us of your intention to do so. You can do this by emailing us at support@indialets.com

You subscription plan is covers an annual advertisement. If you cancel your advert during this timeframe no refund is permitted for the remaining time you have left on your subscription plan.

Creating my advert

How do I create my advert and when does it go live?
There are several required fields during the advert creation process which must be complete before your advert is made live. These are clearly outlined during the advert creation process. For tips on how to write your advert please see the homeowner resources section.

Please note that all adverts must be written and make use of original material. All existing material published on the website is copyrighted. Copying information is strictly prohibited under the terms and conditions.

All completed adverts are reviewed by the Indialets team.

If you have any issues with the advert creation process please contact customer support.

How do I add feedback from guests to my advert?
Guests may provide feedback on your property by accessing the guestbook on your individual property page. Before any review is permitted it is assessed by the homeowner and the Indialets team.

Managing Your Advert

Can I make changes to my advert once it has been published?
Once you have created your advert you can amend any details by simply accessing your account page and selecting the manage property icon. All text-based information, availability calendar and photographs may be updated at any time.

Can I transfer advertising time from one advert to another?
Subscriptions are specific for each advert. Advertising time cannot be transferred from one advert to another.

I no longer wish to advertise with you. Can I get a refund on the remaining advertising time?
Subscriptions are listed as an annual fee for each individual advertisement. No refund is due if you cancel your subscription during the course of this time as stated in the Terms and Conditions.

How do I check if my advert is online?
Once your advert is complete you can check to see whether it is available for search by simply viewing your property in the account page where an icon will show that your property is now online.

I want to take my advert offline for a short period of time. Can you freeze my advertising time so I can use it at a later date?
All advertisers have the option of hiding their advert during their subscribed period. Please note that while the advert is hidden this will still be utilising the subscription time which has been paid by the user.

All information will be retained for the user so that they may simply unhide the advert during the subscribed period so that is available again through the website search engine.

If the subscription for the advert expires at a period of time where the advert was hidden the user must renew their subscription, if cancelled, before the property is live again on the site.
