Our aim is to provide all travellers to India with a huge variety of high quality rental accommodation offered by homeowners at unbeatable value much cheaper than the equivalent high hotel prices in India today. Indialets has the largest selection of available homes in India allowing travellers to browse and book with confidence through our safe and secure website.

There are four key aspects which highlight why a rented holiday home is better for a traveler than staying in a hotel. These are:

1. It is cheaper than staying in a hotel, on average, over 40% cheaper.
2. You have the freedom of your accommodation, doing what you want when you want.
3. You have the space of your own home, not confined to a small hotel room.
4. You have the privacy of your own home. You do not have the share your holiday experience with anyone else.

How to search for a holiday home

You can search for a holiday home simply by typing in your location of interest in the search bar at the top of the homepage, selecting a state of your choice or using the interactive map located in the main banner on the homepage. If you click on the tab which says Find Holiday Home on the main menu bar this will take you directly to the advanced search where you can input more specific information about the property you are looking for such as your holiday dates, rental rates and the number of guests you are travelling with.

How to check availability of a property

You can check the availability of the property by accessing the property from your search results. Once in the property page if you click on the tab which says Availability and Rates you will be able to see the booking calendar for the property and the rates being charged by the home owner. From this page you may also send a message to the home owner by simply writing your message in the enquiry form.

How do I shortlist properties?

To shortlist a property, once in the property page there is an Add to shortlist button on the left hand side menu option. Once you have added a property to your shortlist you can simply access your shortlisted properties from your Account Page to find it in this list. You can add any number of properties to your shortlist but you must register an account (free) in order to do so.

Enquiring about a property

To enquire about a property simply visit the property page where on the left menu bar you can see an Enquire now button. This will allow you to send a direct message to the home owner and will also provide you with the contact number so you may also phone them.

How to pay for a booking

If you wish to book a home you have seen on our website you must enquire with the home owner with your chosen dates and to confirm the rate. Payment for your stay is strictly between yourself and the homeowner. Indialets does not have any responsibility with regard to booking of a home on our website.

Providing feedback about your stay

If you stayed in a property advertised on Indialets then please write a review about your experience. Providing feedback about a property helps other travellers when they are looking to book their holiday.

To submit your review, simply go to the property that you stayed in and at the bottom of the page there is the Guestbook for the property. In here you are able to title your message, provide a star rating out of 5 and write your review about your stay.
